Background Information
Last year I did this same pairing, which was a very highly anticipated clutch because both parents are what I consider to be some of the finest examples of their respective "classes".  Last year's clutch did indeed produce some of the most stunning IJ Jaguars I've ever seen, and customers who were able to get one have been giving them rave reviews.

Below are the parents and some background info about them.

Sire

The sire is my most prized IJ Jaguar, SOB (Son of Bullwinkle - makes his dad look dirty).  He's one of the first 75% Irian Jaya Jaguars produced in the United States, which I produced in 2007 from a female Irian Jaya that's 50% GQ lineage (dam's brother's side) and 50% "WC" lineage (my old wild collected IJ female that produced Bullwinkle).

Dam

Mom is my most prized female Irian Jaya - the original GQ female...still sexy after all these years and always produces 20+ eggs per clutch.  She's the 2001 offspring of a pair of wild collected Irian Jayas bred by my friend Gary Quirk, hence the "GQ" initials.

My two keepers from last year...
Last year's clutch came out so nice that I decided to post them all for sale and then keep a pair as holdbacks after customers had picked theirs out (the clutch sold out in a little over a month).  Here is what I ended up with...

2010 - 87.5% IJ Jaguar Female 5
This female is exactly what I was hoping for when I decided to try this pairing.  She is actually a very uniform yellow from head to tail, but the camera makes her head and neck look too bright, so I had to turn the contrast down.  This is an awesome snake - she looks like plastic in person.

2010 - 87.5% Jaguar Male 2
This male is quite a bit smaller than his sister (she will eat 2-3 prey items in a row, he usually only eats one per feeding), but he is coloring up nicely...and man, is he clean!
