Crested Geckos
Clearing out the available room - July 30, 2010
I've marked down several geckos that have been on the website for over 90 days. We're basically out of space in our available room because the overflow of new babies are being housed in there (a hundred babies or more a week will do that to you!). Any geckos over 90 days will be removed from my website and taken out of the available room the next time I make any new crested geckos available. I'm not yet sure what day that will be, but most likely by August 7-15, 2010. ;
Most of these geckos are honestly what I consider A grade specimens...we don't produce many average geckos and I definitely wouldn't bother offering them on the website. These geckos just either didn't "fire up" completely for photographs, or the color just didn't come through correctly in the photos. I'm too busy with new babies right now to re-shoot their photos, so there are some steals to be had.
Not only have I marked them down, but I will give discounts on multiple geckos. Just let me know what geckos you're interested in and I'll make you a package deal.
Thanks!
Anthony Caponetto

Important! Quantity Discounts Revised
Buy any 3 geckos and you're entitled to the "quantity discount" on any gecko that you see the "Qty Discount" option available. This includes designer wholesale & designer hatchling specials as well as individually pictured babies (mix and match if you like).

Breeding Season 2010 - Snakes Hatching Now!
GQ Line 87.5% Irian Jaya Jaguars (!)
This is a very highly anticipated clutch because both parents are what I consider to be some of the finest examples of their respective classes. The sire is my most prized IJ Jaguar, SOB (Son of Bullwinkle - makes his dad look dirty). Mom is my most prized female Irian Jaya - the original GQ female (still sexy after all these years and always produces 20+ eggs per clutch).
The slideshow above is a random sampling of over twenty Irian Jaya Jaguars and their normal siblings from this clutch, which was taken about a week after their first sheds. The Jaguar morph is a codominant mutation, which means we'll get approximately half Jaguars and half non-Jaguars when we breed a Jaguar to a non-Jaguar.
Background Information
This is a very highly anticipated clutch because both parents are what I consider to be some of the finest examples of their respective
"classes". Below are the parents.

Upcoming 2010 Carpet Python Clutches
New Guinea Jaguar x New Guinea Female - Hatched
This is another equally impressive clutch of 87.5% IJ Jaguars and siblings from my "New Guinea" type female. These are the result of a back-cross, making them 75% New Guinea type. The grandfather was Bullwinkle, so there's a lot of striping - and as you can imagine they don't suck. :-) Pics will be coming shortly - even the sibs are outrageous in this clutch.
Jungle Jaya Jags - Hatched
Yep, I did what I said I wasn't going to do five years ago....made 3-way mutts. Really really good looking mutts...so I couldn't be happier! Small clutch, only hatched 5 eggs (3 jags - all male). I may sell one of the male Jaguars, but it'll be some time before that happens.
Motley x Motley (Hannibal Offspring) - Hatched
Long story, and I'm purposely not going into details, but those who know what's up will be able to follow. This clutch was only 7 eggs, and I believe that I may have hit on one snake that carries Hannibal's appearance. I'm letting her shed out before I go making any announcements, but I have a good feeling about this one...just don't wanna jinx myself. :-)
More carpet clutches have hatched as well - can't even keep them all straight! More info coming soon.
Red Albino & Het Red Albino Blood Pythons - Hatched
14 babies out of 14 eggs and wow (parents are red smokers purchased from VPI - 'nuff said) - They're getting redder by the day and all but three have eaten...and they haven't even shed yet! Great clutch. This was mom's first clutch and she dropped 14 good eggs - that's impressive for a red blood for those not in the know. Between their insanely good looks and the monster clutch size (which points to good genetics), I'm sure I'll be keeping at least half of these (even some hets) as future breeders.
Ball Pythons - Several clutches cooking now!
I have a hanful of clutches cooking right now, but don't ask - I don't know what they're going to be except one clutch of het clowns from a nice big female that produces big, hungry babies. Lots of co-dom males and dinker females - not much in the way of exciting combos, but I'm still building up my collection of BP's. This is my last year of "fiddle-farting" with them, though. lol - Next year will be serious, as I will have several of my newer breeder morphs up to size and should be able to produce some really fun combos. This year should still be interesting, though...lots of powerful genetics being thrown around.

Shipping News
Week of Monday, August 30, 2010
Shipping has resumed!
It's hot today and will be even hotter tomorrow, but the forecast says it's going to be nice and mild for Wednesday. We are extremely backed up on orders because of the weather and with Wednesday being our only day to ship this week, we are limiting ourselves to 15 shipments on Wednesday. Please schedule your shipment as far in advance as possible for shipping this Wednesday or we may have to postpone until Monday.
- Scheduling Cut-Off: Same Day 10:00 AM (Central Time Zone)
To avoid any dreaded "last minute" shipping confusion, live reptile shipments should be scheduled before 10 AM (Central Standard Time) if they are to be shipped that same day.
Protect your rights to own and breed reptiles!

BLBC - My favorite ball python forums, by far.

Their slogan says it all....the "experts" on this forum actually walk the walk...unlike 90% of the "experts" on other forums.
Yeah, I said it. :-)
