Coastals | Irian Jayas | Diamond x Jungles | Jungles | Jaguars | Irian Jaya Jaguars | Tigers | Motleys

Adult Female - "Red" PhaseI remember back when coastal (or Queensland) carpets were considered the ugly carpet pythons. My, how times have changed.  Coastals and Queensland type carpets have turned out to be some of the most variable and beautiful of all the carpet pythons. Of course, quality varies tremendously and it pays to do your homework before you buy.

My main focus with this group is to selectively breed a wide variety of unusually marked and colored coastals by breeding specific colors and patterns together. Examples of such projects include the red phase Tigers  and "High Contrast" Tigers produced here in 2006.

Coastal Carpet Photos
Below is a small sampling of the M.s. mcdowelli type carpets that I'm working with. I have dozens of animals not pictured here, but this should give you an idea of the quality and variety now available with the subspecies.
