This is a juvenile red extreme harlequin from the well known "REX" line. REXH is the egg code we use to designate eggs, and is an acronym for Red EXtreme harlequin, so I thought it only appropriate to name the original male "Rex". :-)
This is an early example of my Mocha x Neon project. This little project was more or less my first "Area 51" project. I had geckos that didn't pair well with anything, and I decided to do some tinkering....the result was the best line of red harlequins in my collection that have a hypomelanistic quality that breeds true consistently. This gecko is perfectly clean and although the pigmentation is weaker than we want, he has still been instrumental in cleaning and brightening up our red harlequins. When you breed a gecko like this to something like a bright solid red gecko, not all of the babies will inherit the genes for his dilluted color. Some will, but a number of them will inherit his awesome pattern and lack of dark pigments, but the color intensity from the other parent. Today, I use this guy with older bright red females that have a lot of dark pigment. This gecko would also make a great mate for orange and yellow geckos.
This is a bicolor/phantom pinstripe type gecko from my Neon line.
This is really a Heinz 57 of red harlequins. This is a combination of almost every line of red harlequin that I have, but is mostly descended from the "Neon Red Harlequin/Pinstripe" line created with my "Mocha x Neon" Area 51 project. This gecko is only about 6 months old in this photo.
This is one of the first red full pinstripes ever produced. He was not colored up in the photo, and he was only about 7 months old. This gecko is now a breeding adult, and he colors up to a nice intense red at night - probably somewhere between stop sign red and blood red.

Alpha Red Harlequin x Neon Red Harlequin - Alpha Red was the name of my flagship red harlequin project, but when the Neon Red Harlequins came about, I decided that the Alphas would be absorbed into the Neon project, due to the improved pinstripe/cream pattern and hypomelanistic qualities of the Neon project geckos. This gecko is sporting a classic harlequin pattern and has what I consider A+ quality color.
Pepsi better step up that red!!!
